Frequently asked questions

A little clarity
before you begin.

Practical answers about consultations and getting in touch.

Do I need to know what is wrong before I book?

No. You can begin by describing what has been difficult, even if you do not have a diagnosis or the words to explain it. The consultation is a space to discuss your concerns.

How do I arrange a consultation?

Contact the practice to discuss your preferred appointment. Available days, times, and consultation arrangements are confirmed individually.

What happens in the first consultation?

Dr. Apoorva will discuss your concerns, relevant health history, and what you hope to get help with. You can ask questions and discuss possible next steps. Sometimes an in-person assessment or a different service may be more appropriate.

Will I definitely be prescribed medication?

A prescription is not guaranteed. Any treatment recommendation depends on your assessment, clinical judgement, and what is appropriate and permitted for an consultation.

How do I prepare for an appointment?

Choose a quiet, private place with a reliable internet connection. Keep a list of your concerns, current medicines, and relevant previous records ready. Share records only through the channel agreed for your appointment.

Can children and adolescents have an appointment?

Please enquire first. Suitability for care and the involvement of a parent or legal guardian need to be discussed before an appointment is confirmed.

How do I book or pay?

Use the Contact & booking page to enquire. An appointment is confirmed separately; sending an enquiry does not reserve a time. booking and payment are not currently enabled on this website. Fees and applicable terms will be provided before any payment.

Is the workbook a substitute for treatment?

No. “Why do I feel this way?” is a reflection resource. It does not diagnose a condition or replace a professional assessment. You can pause if any exercise feels uncomfortable.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Contact the practice as early as possible using the details in your appointment confirmation. Read the Cancellation & refund policy before arranging an appointment.

What if I need urgent help?

Dr. Apoorva does not provide immediate emergency services. For mental health crisis support in India, including suicidal thoughts, call 14416 — Tele-MANAS mental health helpline (phone), the free, 24/7 national mental health helpline.
